Roasted chicken breast with Cajun rub
A delicious spicy chicken breast easy easy to roast in the oven, and beautiful to serve.
4 chicken breasts, bone in, skin on
Serve with a green salad
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
3/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
1 tablespoon sweet paprika
For rub, mix together all ingredients in a large freezer bag.
Preheat oven to 350°. Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towel. Place into freezer bag of rub and shake to coat evenly. Place chicken onto parchment-lined baking dish and cook uncovered for 40 to 50 minutes. Check for doneness. Bake another 10 to 15 minutes until meat is well done.
