- 2 (12-ounce) New York steaks, 1-inch thick
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
In shallow glass bowl, combine olive oil, red wine and garlic. Add steaks and turn to coat. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat grill to high; lightly oil grill and reduce to medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper. Grill steaks 6 to 8 minutes per side for medium rare. Remove from grill. Cover and let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
