- 1 teaspoon coarse salt, plus extra for salting water
- 1/4 teaspoon of Chinese five spice
- Package Edamame
In small bowl combine salt and five spice. Set aside.
In large pot, bring 8 cups water to boil over high heat. Add generous pinch of coarse salt and edamame and cook for 3 minutes until tender. Drain and rinse briefly with cold water to stop the cooking. Sprinkle generously with five spice-salt mixture.
Serves 6 as an appetizer.
